Heat wave likely to continue
The Meteorological Department on Sunday said the continuing heat wave was likely to continue.
Severe heat wave is sweeping over Rajshahi region mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over
Khulna division and the regions of Bogra, Ishurdi, Dinajpur, Dhaka, Tangail and Faridpur. Heat wave
condition is likely to continue, reports Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha.
Rain or thunder shower accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Chittagong and Sylhet divisions.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.
A trough of westerly low is lying over West Bengal and adjoining area and seasonal low is lying over South Bay.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The sun sets at 6:24pm Sunday and rises at 5:29am Monday in the capital.
Minimum temperature of Sunday was recorded 22.5 degree Celsius at Rangpur and maximum
temperature of Saturday was 40.2 degree Celsius at Rajshahi.
