Two-day career festival ends in Chittagong

A two-day career fair titled ‘Career Fest Chittagong 2016’ ended on Saturday with the participation of hundreds of job seekers, students from across the institutions and employers.
The festival was organised by JOBSBD.com and Chittagong City Corporation in association with Daffodil International University with a view to creating job opportunities for the skilled, educated and as well as youngsters of the nation.
The fair featured job showcase, spot interview sessions, seminars, workshops, career guidelines and ‘meet the leaders sessions’, resume appraisals, skill assessment tests, entrepreneur’s guidance camp and panel discussions focused on jobs, entrepreneurship and self employment.
Chittagong city mayor AJM Nasir Uddin attended the inaugural ceremony as chief guest. The session was presided over by Daffodil Group chairman, Sabur Khan.
Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Mahabubul Alam, PHP Group chairman Sufi Mohammad Mizanur Rahman, Daffodil International University vice- chancellor Yousuf Mahabubul Islam, International Islamic University Chittagong vice-chancellor AKM Azharul Islam and BSHRM chairman Farid A Sobhani were present, among others, at the inaugural session.
