Two ABT members remanded

A Dhaka metropolitan magistrate court on Tuesday granted a five-day remand for two members of banned Islamist outfit Ansarullah Bangla Team.
Dhaka metropolitan magistrate Khurshed Alam granted the remand while detective police sub-inspector Shafiqul Islam produced the accused with a prayer for ten days’ remand.
A Detective Branch team arrested the duo on Monday night. They are Sayed Muzahidul Islam and Ariful Islam.
Several books and machetes were also recovered from their possessions. Later police filed case against them under anti-terrorism act.
The detectives claimed to have arrested the two from Kamrangirchar in the capital.
