Monk hacked in Cox’s Bazar town

Unidentified attackers hacked a Rakhain monk near Cox’s Bazar central monastery in the town on Wednesday morning.
Cox’s Bazar police station duty officer said the attackers swooped on the monk outside the monastery at around 7:30am. Locals rushed him to Cox’s Bazar General Hospital immediately and he was admitted there.
The duty officers could not give any details but claimed that senior officers have rushed the spot.
