Nur Alam Ziku (26 October 1938 – 21 February 2010) was a Bangladeshi politician, former Member of Parliament representing Kushtia-4 constituency. In the 4th parliamentary elections of 1988, he was elected as a Member of Parliament as a candidate of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal-JSD and served as the Chief Whip of the Opposition in the National Parliament.

Ziku was admitted to Kushtia Government College after passing his matriculation in 1954. He entered Rajshahi University after passing the HSC examination in 1958. In 1962 he was admitted to Dhaka University in LLB.

Ziku was actively involved in the language movement when he was a student of class nine. He was arrested on 23 February 1952 and released on 9 June 1952. He was elected VP in the Student Parliament of Kushtia College. He led an eventful political life during his lifetime. He was the Senior Vice President of East Pakistan Chhatra League central committee in 1960-1962 and played a pioneer's role in the movement for independence. In 1962 he protested against the Hamdir Rahman Education Commission and was imprisoned again. Ziku actively participated in the 1962 Presidential election against Ayub Khan and played a role of chief coordinator of Fatma Jinnah, sister of Muhammad Ali Jinnah in the Khulna divisional area.

Ziku left the Chhatra League in 1962 and worked as a young leader of the Awami League and Bangabandhu's nominated envoy to organize the Awami League in the Rajshahi and Khulna divisions. He also played an effective role in organising students' movement after deserting Chhatra League in 1962. He actively participated in 1969 mass movement and 1970 election. Ziku was a deputy leader of the Mujib Bahini Southern Command during the Liberation War and fought against occupying Pakistan forces in Khulna, Barishal, Faridpur, Pabna areas.

He joined Swadhin Bangla Nucleus in 1962. He entered the film industry in 1963 and took a job in Mr. Salahuddin’s “Salahuddin production”. In the face of the aggression of Uudu film, Mr. Salahuddin made 'Rupban' film to save Bengali cinema from destruction. In this film, Ziku made his debut as the main assistant director and an actor.

After independence, he got involved in forming the first opposition political party Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal-JSD and served as its Organizing Secretary, General Secretary, Executive President and President at different times. He was elected the Organizing Secretary of JSD in 1973 and President in 1987. The last time he was the President from 2002 to 2009.

During his lifetime, Ziku was involved in cultural activities including producing and directing a number of films. He also founded Rabindra Smriti Rakkha Parishad and Lalon Lok Sahitya Sangsad in Kushtia.

Ziku died on 21 February 2010 in Shamarita Hospital, Dhaka and lay to rest with full state honours at Mirpur Freedom Fighters Graveyard in the city.
