Reazuddin Ahmed (30 November 1945 - 25 December 2021) was a Bangladeshi veteran journalist, writer, columnist and editor. He was the editor-in-chief of The Financial Express and the editor of The News Today. He was the editor of The Financial Herald till his death. He received Ekushey Padak, Maulana Akram Khan Padak and Atish Dipankar Padak.

Ahmed was born 1945 in Manohardi upazila of Narsingdi district. He obtained his MA in Economics from Dhaka University in 1967 and his LLB degree in 1972. After teaching for a while, he started his journalism career in 1966 with Pakistan Observer. In 1970, he became a member of the executive council of the then East Pakistan Journalists Union. He left the Pakistan Observer on March 25, 1971 and joined the Great War of Liberation. After independence, Ahmed joined the Observer again. He worked there until November 1990.

Ahmed was the General Secretary, President, Secretary General and President of the Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) in the seventies and eighties. He was the President of the National Press Club for eight years from 1995 to 1996 and from 2003 to 2006 for four terms. He was also the President of the South Asian Free Media Association (SAFMA) and a member of the Dhaka University Senate.

Ahmed was awarded the Ekushey Padak in 1993 for his glorious contribution to journalism. On December 21, he was nominated as a member of the Bangladesh Press Council. His published books include: Everyday in Search of Truth, Arabian Nights and Persian Nights.

Ahmed was admitted to United Hospital on 13 December after being attacked by Covid-19 and died at on 25th November 2021 in the Covid ICU of United Hospital.
