Extortionist vandalise Kali temple in city

Extortionists vandalised a Kali temple and damaged idols at Patla Khan lane in Dhaka on Sunday night.

Patla Khan Lane Puja Committee president Pappu Dutta and local residents Ranjan Das and Hemata Ghosh told New Age that the extortionists vandalised the temple and the idol at about 11:00pm being denied of their demand.

Locals took to the street immediately after the incident protesting against the vandalism and put off the lights at all the Kali temples in the locality.
