UTTARA GAS EXPLOSION : Father follows sons in death
Another victim of the gas pipe leak explosion at Uttara died from his burn injuries Saturday afternoon, raising the death toll to three of a family in the incident that occurred Friday morning. Shah Newaz, 50, a maintenance engineer at US embassy in Dhaka, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital at around 5:45pm, the hospital burn unit resident surgeon Partha Sankar Paul told New Age.
Abul’s right hand fingers, palm trimmed
Surgeons on Saturday trimmed the fingers and palm on the right hand of Abul Bajander. The trimming took place at Dhaka Medical College Hospital’s burn and plastic surgery department a week after root and bark-like warts were cut off from the fingers and palm on his right hand on February 20, said doctors.
