The primary and the ibtedayi completion examinations scheduled for today has been shifted to November 30, due to the general strike called by Jamaat-e-Islami.

Political parties, campaigners hail SQC, Mojaheed execution

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami said it would enforce daylong hartal today protesting at the execution of the party secretary general, Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mojaheed, while the government has taken precautionary measures to keep law and order normal.

Mojaheed buried in Faridpur

Executed war crimes convict Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mojaheed was buried on the premises of Ideal Cadet Madrassah established by him at West Khabaspur of Faridpur town early Sunday. Mojaheed’s body reached Faridpur at around 6:40am amid strict security.
